Welcome to Newington Swimming Club

Newington Swimming Club (NEWSC) is an affiliated swimming club with Swimming Australia, Swimming NSW, and Metropolitan South East.

The aim of the club is to provide a platform for swimmers of all abilities to develop their competitive swimming skills and performance whilst maintaining a fun, safe, and supportive environment for its members.

Newington College staff members and a voluntary management committee work together in running the club. The club is a non-profit organisation whereby all funds raised are reinvested into the club and its members. To raise funds for the club, official club nights, social events, and other fund raising events are put together by staff, committee members, and volunteers. All members of the club are encouraged to actively contribute to team events.

How to find us

Newington Swimming Club is located on the premises of Newington College, Stanmore. Many of our club swimmers attend Newington College, but our program (both NewSPORT Swim Squads and Newington Swimming Club) welcomes all members from our community.
